Men's Tennis Returns From Macon Invitational

MACON, Ga.- The Georgia State men’s tennis team sent three Panthers to the Mercer Invitational this weekend, with one student-athlete advancing to the quarterfinals and one advancing to the semifinals of their flights.

Giles Hussey played as the No. 5 seed in the Buccaneers Flight, falling 7-5, 2-6, 6-2 to No. 1 seed Olivier Stuart of Mercer. In the Panthers Flight, freshman Andrei Duarte fell in the Round of 32 6-1, 6-2 to Chris Andre of Alabama State.

Kevin Huynh advanced to the semifinals of the Jets Flight, falling 6-7, 6-3, 7-6 to Joaquin Vallejo of Jacksonville State.
