ROME, GA. - Georgia State advances to the semifinals in the Sun Belt Conference Tournament, taking down Troy 4-1. Gabriele Datei clinched the match for the Panthers on court No. 4 with a 6-4, 7-5 victory.
The Panthers came out strong and took the 1-0 advantage after Gabriele Datei and partner Maxwell Weir clinched the doubles point 7-6(4) at the top doubles flight.
In singles play, Maxwell Weir was the first Panther to add a point for Georgia State, taking court No. 5 with a 6-3, 6-4 win.
