ATLANTA- The Georgia State men’s tennis head coach Jonathan Wolff announced Tuesday morning the signing of the No. 1 junior player in Latvia, Roberts Grinvalds.
Grinvalds is 26-12 this year in singles, 52-35 in career singles, and 24-12 in doubles play this year. The high school senior earned his first professional ATP point this year in Latvia Futures. He is currently ranked 180 in the ITF world rankings and has been ranked as high as No. 172.
The Bigaunciems, Latvia, native earned his biggest win this season when he won his first grade 3 tournament.
