ATLANTA- The Georgia State men’s soccer team will open the Sun Belt Conference Tournament as the No. 2 seed, as announced by the conference office.
The Panthers are 11-6-1 (3-1-1 SBC) and are the runners-up in the regular season. The team’s only conference loss came from conference champion and tournament host Coastal Carolina, which defeated GSU in tough 3-1 loss to close out the regular season.
Georgia State outscored its conference opponents 10-4, shutting out Hartwick, Appalachian State, and Howard.
