Men's Soccer Falls to Rival Georgia Southern

ATLANTA- The Georgia State men’s soccer team fell 3-1 to rival Georgia Southern Saturday night in the Sun Belt opener for both teams.

The Panthers fell to 7-6 overall (0-1 Sun Belt) while the Eagles improved to 5-5-1 (1-0 Sun Belt).

GSU started the match off strong, with sophomore Hannes Burmeister putting the Panthers up 1-0 after a penalty kick under five minutes into the match.
