HUNTINGTON – The Panthers captured a lead late in the first half, but Marshall quickly erased the lead and built one of their own, dominating the second half to hand Georgia State the 3-1 loss in Huntington on Saturday night.
How It Happened
A slow start to the first half gave way to an action-packed final five minutes, starting with Matt Taylor giving the Panthers a 1-0 lead. Taylor, who has been playing a game of metaphorical leapfrog with Samir Djeha atop the team's scoring leaderboard, matched his teammate once again, speeding past the Marshall defense for his fifth goal of the campaign.
