ATLANTA – With tipoff of the 2018-19 season just a few weeks away, Georgia State announced several date changes and game times on Thursday for the upcoming season. It was also announced that all home games will air on ESPN Plus.
The most notable changes will occur in February as back-to-back weekends will move from the traditional Thursday-Saturday to Wednesday-Friday to accommodate television.
Georgia State will now travel to face UL Monroe and Louisiana on Feb. 6, and Feb. 8, with the match-up with the Ragin’ Cajuns airing live on ESPN2 at 9 p.m. ET. Georgia State and Louisiana have met three times in the Sun Belt Conference tournament in the last five years and have been the top two teams in the league since 2013-14.
