With the start of the 2021 football season just three months away, it's time to get to know Georgia State's class of newcomers that will join a Panthers program that returns 22 starters from last year's bowl-winning squad.
Today's featured freshman is running Jaquan Dixon from Green Sea Floyds High School in Loris, S.C.
Dixon was an all-state selection while winning two state titles at Green Sea Floyds. He rushed for 875 yards and 14 touchdowns in just six games in 2020, averaging 7.9 yards per carry
Dixon topped 1,800 yards rushing in his both his junior and sophomore seasons, and in 2019 he was recognized as the top player in South Carolina's Class 1A.
