With the start of the 2021 football season just three months away, it's time to get to know Georgia State's class of newcomers that will join a GSU program that returns 22 starters from last year's bowl-winning squad.
Today's featured freshman is wide receiver from Jaylin Tolbert from Greenwood (S.C.) High School.
Tolbert is a 6-3, 200-pounder, adding another tall, athletic pass catcher to the Panthers' deep receiving corps that features veterans standouts such as Sam Pinckney, Cornelius McCoy and Terrance Dixon, along with promising youngsters Jamari Thrash, Cadarrius Thompson, Robert Lewis, Tailique Williams and Jacob Freeman, along with UCF transfer Ja'Cyais Credle.
