ATLANTA – Georgia State volleyball head coach Sally Polhamus announced the hiring of Taylor McColskey as an assistant coach on Wednesday. McColskey knows Atlanta well after spending the last three years at Georgia Tech.
While at Tech, McColskey was the recruiting coordinator for his first two seasons. In his third year, he primarily focused on scouting and individual training.
As a part of his duties, McColskey guided Yellow Jacket outside hitter Teegan Van Gunst to All-ACC First Team honors twice and All-America honorable mention recognition twice. She also garnered CoSIDA Academic All-American honors, ACC Scholar-Athlete of the Year and was awarded an NCAA Post-Grad Scholarship.
