MOBILE, Ala. – Led by an opening round 1-under par 71 from redshirt-sophomore Jenny Marston, the Georgia State women's golf team stands in 11th place following the first round of the USA Intercollegiate at the Robert Trent Jones Trail - Magnolia Grove (Crossings Course).
Marston, who took a redshirt last season, made a pair of birdies and just one bogey in her first round back to the course in nearly 18 months. She stands in a tie for 10th with 36 holes to play.
The Panthers opening round 11-over 299 was good for 11th place in the 17-team field.
