Letterman’s Day will be celebrated at the Georgia State basketball doubleheader on Saturday, Feb. 6 in the Sports Arena. The welcome mat is out for all former Panther players to come back and enjoy a day with fellow alums.
The check-in and catered reception on the fourth floor of the Sports Arena will open at 11 a.m., one hour before the women’s tip-off with Sun Belt foe, UT Arlington. At halftime of the women’s game (approximately 12:45-1 p.m.), Director of Athletics Charlie Cobb will address the letter-winners on everything from the new basketball practice facility next door, to the acquisition of the Turner Field property, to the consolidation with Georgia Perimeter College that will take GSU’s enrollment to more than 50,000, to all the news of the athletics department.
