* Georgia State shot an opening round 311 to stand in 15th place following the first round of the Shoal Creek Invitational at Shoal Creek Country Club.
* Senior James Kyles led the Panthers with a 3-over 75 and is tied for 35th place.
* Round 2 of the three-round tournament got underway for Georgia State before darkness set it. Four golfers in the field remained on the course to finish Round 1. It will be finished on Tuesday morning before the final round gets underway.
