ATLANTA – Georgia State’s softball team won its sixth game in a row Wednesday, defeating Presbyterian 3-0 at the Bob Heck Softball Complex.
Kinsley Jennings threw a complete-game shutout to improve to 6-2 on the season. The senior struck out six and allowed just four hits.
Ivie Drake provided Jennings the run support with a three-run homer that landed on top of the indoor hitting facility beyond the left field wall. Drake’s third-inning dinger was her fourth of the season and 51st of her career.
Drake ranks sixth among active Division-I players for most career home runs.
