ATLANTA – Georgia State’s softball team defeated Georgia Tech 5-2 Wednesday at the Bob Heck Softball Complex behind a complete game by Kinsley Jennings in the circle.
Jennings allowed two runs in the first inning to the Yellow jackets before settling in and retiring the final 13 batters of the game to pick up her second win on the season.
Down 2-0 in the first, Georgia State ripped off three straight doubles that brought in a pair of runs and evened the score at 2-2. Reagan Morgan started things off with a line drive over the center fielder’s head.
