ATLANTA — Georgia State wide receiver Ted Hurst has been named to The Athletic's 2025 College Football Freaks List, marking the first-ever selection for the Panthers football program.
The annual list, compiled by senior writer Bruce Feldman, highlights players across the nation whose physical abilities push the limits of athletic performance.
Hurst, a 6-3, 198-pound senior, has made a major impact since transferring to Georgia State from Valdosta State. In his debut Sun Belt season, he hauled in 56 receptions for 961 yards and a program-record nine touchdowns. One of his most memorable performances came in Georgia State's upset victory over Vanderbilt, where he scored twice — including the game-winning touchdown with just 15 seconds remaining.
