NEW ORLEANS-Georgia State senior Jeremy Hollowell led the Panthers to a pair of key road wins and earned Sun Belt Player-of-the-Week honors as announced by the conference office on Tuesday afternoon.
Hollowell earned Georgia State’s first honor of the year and the second of his career with wins UL Monroe and Louisiana.
The senior helped ended UL Monroe’s 18-game home court winning streak on Saturday and then guided the Panthers to a 101-86 win at Louisiana. It marked the first time the Ragin’ Cajuns allowed 100 or more points at home since 1990.
Against the Warhawks, Hollowell finished with 24 points on 8-of-15 shooting, missing a career-high by just one point.
