ATLANTA - Kierra Henry of GSU women's basketball is this week's Georgia State Student-Athlete of the Week, powered by the U.S. Marines.
Henry averaged 14.0 points, 10.5 assists and 3.5 rebounds per game in two contests this week.
In Sunday’s win over Allen, Henry recorded her first career double-double with 12 points and 14 assists. She finished just two assists shy of matching the GSU single-game record.
Against Kennesaw State, Henry scored 16 points, seven assists and three steals. For the week, she shot 68% from the field and 89% from the free throw line.
