ATLANTA -- Georgia State baseball standout Rhett Harper was named to the Google Cloud Academic All-District® baseball team announced Thursday by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). The senior outfielder-pitcher was selected for the second time in his career and is now eligible for the Google Cloud Academic All-America® baseball team, which will be announced next month.
Harper, who was also honored in 2017, is one of the top student-athletes in the nation with a 4.16 grade point average -- the highest mark for any of the 90 baseball players selected from the eight Division I districts.
