ATLANTA – Georgia State women’s soccer wrapped up its two-match slate against SEC opponents Sunday afternoon, as the Panthers fell to Vanderbilt 3-0 at the GSU Soccer Complex. GSU was able to compete against two top-tier programs in Georgia and Vanderbilt, garnering valuable experience for much of the roster heading into conference play.
The loss dropped Georgia State to 2-5-1 on the season while Vanderbilt won its seventh straight match to improve to 7-1-0 on the year.
