GSU Splits Doubleheader

AUBURN, ALA- Georgia State women’s tennis split a pair of matches Saturday to close out the season’s opening weekend. GSU was defeated 4-1 by Oklahoma, but bounced back in the night session to defeat ULM by the same score. Senior Kristin Rehse led the way with a singles victory and a doubles win on the day.

In the afternoon match the Panthers fell 4-1 to the Sooners. GSU dropped the doubles point, however Arina Taluyenko and Rehse were on the brink of winning their incomplete set.

Rehse continued to play good tennis for GSU, winning 6-1, 6-1 in the number two singles slot.
