* On Saturday night, Georgia State went the full distance of five sets for the second consecutive night. This time the Panthers came away with the win over the UT Arlington Mavericks by a final of 25-22, 19-25, 23-25, 25-23 and 15-13.
* GSU improves to 5-5 in the Sun Belt and 9-12 overall. The Panthers still secure the third place spot in the East Division. UT Arlington falls to 11-14 overall and 5-5 in the SBC.
* Kristina Stinson, Eliza Zachary and Crystal Lee propelled the Panther attack with 15 kills each.
