ATLANTA – True Freshman Roberts Grinvalds was named Sun Belt Men’s Tennis Player of the Week, the league announced on Wednesday, giving Georgia State its fourth consecutive Player of the Week honor this season.
Grinvalds went 7-1 overall last week and helped lead Georgia State men’s tennis to a 2-2 record during the Panthers’ four-match homestand, including back-to-back wins over North Florida and Kennesaw State. Grinvalds finished the week 3-1 in singles play and 4-0 in doubles play and is tied for the most singles victories on the team this season with six.
