ATLANTA – A total of 37 current and former Panther student-athletes were scheduled to walk across the stage Saturday as a part of Georgia State’s Spring Commencement at the Georgia Dome. Another 27 student-athletes are expected to graduate this summer as they finish up their degrees.
The ceremony takes place at 1 p.m. in the Georgia Dome.
Sue Desmond-Hellmann, chief executive officer of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, will deliver the keynote address.
Nine football players, who led the Panthers to their first AutoNation Cure Bowl and a 34-7 win over Georgia Southern last December will graduate on Saturday.
