Good Weekend for #PantherPros

Sunday was a good day for former Georgia State Panthers in the National Football League.

Most notably, former Georgia State kicker Wil Lutz booted the game-winning, 52-yard field goal with 11 seconds left in the New Orleans Saints' 41-38 victory over the Carolina Panthers.

Lutz, who earned All-Sun Belt Conference honors for Georgia State last season and is the Panthers' career scoring leader, was an undrafted free agent who signed with the Saints just before the season opener.

Wide receiver Albert Wilson, now in his third season with the Kansas City Chiefs, had a 26-yard reception down to the 4-yard line to set up the Chiefs' second touchdown in today's 26-10 win over the Oakland Raiders.
