ATLANTA – Georgia State head coach Shawn Elliott has named former Western Carolina associate head coach/offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach Brad Glenn as the Panthers’ new offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach and former Florida State assistant Brad Lawing as defensive line coach.
Glenn served seven years at Western Carolina and previously spent seven seasons at Appalachian State, where he worked on the same offensive staff with Elliott as the Mountaineers won three straight NCAA FCS titles. Lawing brings nearly four decades of coaching experience, including 29 seasons coaching defenses at Power Five schools Florida State, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina and Michigan State, and he coached with Elliott on the South Carolina staff.
