Gilbert's 18 points lead GSU to Sixth-Place Finish

LAFAYETTE, LA - Georgia State sprinter Ravin Gilbert scored 18 points with a trio of second-place performances to lead GSU on the third and final day of Sun Belt Conference outdoor track and field championships on the campus of UL Lafayette.

GSU finished sixth of the 11 schools with 66.50 points, while crushing last-place Georgia Southern with nine point, to clinch “The Rivalry Series” inaugural year for Georgia State.

Gilbert upped her career medal count in Sun Belt indoor and outdoor track championships to 10 total with five golds, four silvers and a bronze during her stellar career.
