ATLANTA -- The inaugural game at Georgia State Stadium, scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 31 vs. Tennessee State, will kick off at 7 p.m. and will be televised on ESPN3, Georgia State and the Sun Belt Conference announced Wednesday.
The season opener is one of two Thursday night games at Georgia State Stadium this season. The Panthers also host Sun Belt Conference foe South Alabama on Thursday, Oct. 26. That game will be nationally televised on ESPNU with a 7:30 p.m. kickoff.
