With his record-setting football career at Georgia State complete, punter Brandon Wright now has an opportunity to test his talents at the next level after signing an NFL free agent contract with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Wright knows the work is just beginning, but he said receiving that phone call was, "Unlike anything I could describe. Whatever happens, I'm just thankful to God and to the Jacksonville Jaguars for the opportunity."
Don't expect him to forget where he came from.
"Georgia State has been everything to me," Wright said. "It's more than just football. It's about the school, it's about the people I've met.
