ATLANTA – With the opening of Georgia State Stadium just over a week away, plans were announced on Tuesday for the inaugural FanFest to take place in the new ‘Home of the Panthers’ on Aug. 17.
Gates for the event will open at 5:30 p.m. with the first PantherWalk of the year scheduled for 6:30 p.m., taking place just outside of the Green Lot. Activities, which include a practice and simulated scrimmage under the lights for the Georgia State football team will begin at approximately 7 p.m. and last for around 90 minutes.
Parking for FanFest is free in both the Green and Red Lots and will open for tailgating at 3 p.
