STATESBORO, Ga. — The Georgia State women's basketball team (4-8, 0-1 SBC) got a 24-point showing from the bench, but fell 68-47 to the Georgia Southern Eagles (8-3, 1-0 SBC) on the road Thursday night inside the Jack and Ruth Ann Hill Convocation Center.
Ari Dyson led the Panthers with eight points and six rebounds Grace Lanier also added seven points and three steals and Cheyenne Holloman chipped in as well with six points and seven rebounds. Dyson pulled down three offensive rebounds to pace an offense that racked up second chance opportunities for Georgia State, grabbing 14 boards and turning them into seven second chance points.
