Game at Memphis Set for Friday Night National TV

ATLANTA -- Georgia State's 2018 football game at Memphis will be played on Friday, Sept. 14 at Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium and will be televised on one of the ESPN family of networks.

The kickoff time and the ESPN network will be announced at a later date.

The Panthers are coming off a school-record seven-win season under first-year head coach Shawn Elliott, highlighted by Georgia State's first bowl victory, 27-17 over Western Kentucky in the AutoNation Cure Bowl. Top returnees for the Panthers include receiver Penny Hart, linebacker Michael Shaw and cornerback Jerome Smith.

Memphis went 10-3 in 2017, including a 21-20 loss to Iowa State in the AutoZone Liberty Bowl.
