ATLANTA -- Georgia State standout Hunter Gaddis is the Community Coffee Sun Belt Conference Pitcher of the Week for the third time in his career after a dominating performance in last Friday's 2-0 win at Appalachian State.
The junior right-hander pitched eight scoreless innings, combining with freshman Joseph Brandon for the shutout. Gaddis struck out a season-high 10 and allowed just four hits, all singles. Of the four hits, only an eighth-inning single was a solid hit to the outfield. The other three hits were an infield single, a bad-hop single past the third baseman and a single credited when the runner was hit by the batted ball.
