ATLANTA -- Georgia State Friday starter Hunter Gaddis earned his second Sun Belt Conference Pitcher of the Week award after his complete victory victory over South Alabama.
Gaddis, the 6-5 right-hander, allowed two runs on four hits while striking out to pick up his fifth victory of the season last Friday night. He blanked South Alabama on just two hits for seven innings before the Jaguars managed two runs in the eighth, aided by a fly ball that was lost in the lights, resulting in a double.
The sophomore from Canton, Ga., is tied for the Division I lead with five victories, and he ranks fourth in the Sun Belt with a 1.
