ATLANTA – Georgia State and Georgia Tech will square off for the first time in a home and home football series for the 2024 and 2026 seasons as announced by both athletic departments on Wednesday.
Georgia Tech will host the first game between the two programs on Aug. 31, 2024, at Bobby Dodd Stadium. Two years later the Panthers will host the Yellow Jackets at Georgia State Stadium on Sept. 19, 2026.
Georgia State just wrapped up the 2019 season with a third bowl appearance in five years after facing Wyoming in the NOVA Home Loans Arizona Bowl.
