For many former Georgia State basketball players, their careers do not come to an end when they lace up their shoes for one last time on Charles “Lefty” Driesell court inside the GSU Sports Arena. Although the bright lights of the NBA are what every young player strives for, Georgia State Panthers can be found around the world continuing to follow their dreams.
No less than a dozen former Panthers are currently in the professional ranks, everywhere from the bright lights of New York in the NBA D-League to halfway around the globe in Hanoi, Vietnam. Every player has a story to tell as to why they strive to play at their best every day, regardless of how many fans cheer them on.
