ATLANTA – Matthew Fearnley, a junior on Georgia State men's soccer team, has earned a pair of top academic honors this week having been named to the United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division I Scholar All-America Team as well as the United Soccer Coaches Association Scholar All-Region Team.
Fearnley led the Panthers to a 9-2-2 record during the fall and a sixth-straight Sun Belt Conference championship game appearance. The junior earned All-Sun Belt recognition and helped guide the nations' most-prolific offense in the fall fall while tying for the team lead with five goals to go along with an assist.
