ATLANTA – Georgia State head coach Ron Hunter announced that Detroit guard Corey Allen will transfer to GSU this summer and have two years of eligibility remaining. Allen will redshirt the 2018-19 season before beginning play for the Panthers in 2019-2020.
The 2017 Horizon League Freshman of the Year made 18 starts as a sophomore this past season and finished second on the team in scoring at 14.4 points per game, which was also eighth in the league.
