ATLANTA - Georgia State's cross country team, led by head coach Chris England, will start its 2017 season Saturday at the Queen City Invitational, hosted by Xavier.

The meet is scheduled to begin with the men's 5k at 9 a.m. at VOA Park in West Chester, Ohio. The women's 5k will follow and is expected to start around 9:30.

"Competing in Ohio allows us to compete against a different set of opponents than who we're used to seeing," England said. "Change in scenery and competition should be good for our team as we start the year.
