The Georgia State cross country team earned the third-highest grade point average across the NCAA and earned All-Academic team honors from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association as announced on Feb. 20.
GSU’s nine-member team combined to earn a 3.78 grade point average for the fall semester, during the team’s competition.
“This is another proud achievement for the ladies and their university,” head coach Chris England said. ”They have learned to give their best in competition on the course and in the classroom. I appreciate their efforts and what they have been able to do.
