ATLANTA -- The Georgia State softball team walked-off Western Carolina in both ends of a doubleheader on home runs by and to sweep the twinbill 6-3 and 1-0 Wednesday at the Bob Heck Softball Complex.
Sophomore pitcher (5-1), on her 21st birthday, earned both victories with eight scoreless innings.
The two walk-off victories today give the Panthers five wins this season in their final at-bat.
In Game 1, the Panthers (10-13) entered the seventh inning tied 3-3. delivered a one-out single and then reached on a fielder's choice to put runners at first and second.
