ATLANTA – Aris Briggs of the men's soccer team is this week’s Georgia State Student-Athlete of the Week for a second-straight week after leading the Panthers to a tie against ETSU on Saturday night.
Briggs continued his hot start to the 2019 season as the Memphis, Tenn., native scored his ninth goal of the year in Georgia State’s 2-2 draw with ETSU Saturday night at Summers-Taylor Stadium. Briggs’ offensive production has been a huge factor in GSU’s 4-0-3 start, the first time since 1967 the team has opened the first seven matches of a season without a loss – tying the program record.
