Briggs’ Hat Trick Leads Georgia State Past UAB 4-2

ATLANTA – Aris Briggs' recorded his fourth multi-goal performance the season as his hat trick led Georgia State men's soccer to a 4-2 victory over UAB Tuesday night at the GSU Soccer Complex.

The win moved GSU to 9-3-3 overall, concluding the non-conference slate with an 8-1-3 record. Georgia State head coach Brett Surrency also improved to 98 career victories, two shy of becoming the just second coach in program history to reach 100 career wins.

The Panthers jumped to a 3-0 lead midway through the first half of Tuesday's contest, as sophomore midfielder Logan Luque got the scoring started in the 25th minute when a beautiful through-ball from Ramon Munoz hit the Bonaire, Ga.
