Baseball Recruiting Class Recognized by Collegiate Baseball

ATLANTA – The Georgia State baseball program’s 2016 recruiting class is mentioned among the top classes in the nation by Collegiate Baseball newspaper for the fourth straight year.

Collegiate Baseball annually rates recruiting classes based on the signees who actually
enroll. Arizona State added the nation’s top-rated class, according to the publication,
which ranked its top 40 classes. Georgia State’s group of newcomers is mentioned among other top recruiting classes, along with programs such as 2016 NCAA champion Coastal Carolina, Oregon State, Texas Tech, San Diego State, Alabama, Oklahoma and Notre Dame.

Eleventh-year head coach Greg Frady and his staff welcome 11 newcomers to the roster,
including six junior college transfers, four freshmen and one four-year transfer.
