ATLANTA - Georgia State women’s basketball head coach Gene Hill announced the hire of Sherill Baker to the GSU coaching staff on Tuesday.
Baker coached the last three seasons at Kennesaw State following a four-year stint at Auburn. While with the Owls, Baker helped develop Kamiyah Street, who earned First Team All-ASUN honors in 2018-19, and the 2018-19 ASUN Freshman of the Year, Amani Johnson.
“Sherill brings invaluable experience to our program,” Hill said. “From her playing days to her last seven years of coaching, she has proven that she will help develop our student-athletes both on and off the court.
