CARROLLTON, Ga. – Georgia State softball (4-0, 0-0 SBC) continued its undefeated stretch Saturday at the UWG Opening Weekend Event, rallying past host West Georgia for an 11-6 win before topping Austin Peay 8-3 to complete a perfect 4-0 weekend, marking the program's best start since 2010.
The Panthers showed resilience in game one, breaking a late tie with a five-run seventh inning to pull away from the Wolves, then followed with a balanced offensive performance in game two as all nine starters reached base safely.
