ATLANTA -- Georgia State student-athletes posted a 3.18 grade point average for the spring semester -- the highest figure on record -- and an all-time high 232 individuals earned academic honors, including a record 48 Panthers on the President's List.
GSU student-athletes have posted a GPA of 3.0 or better, semester or cumulative, for eight consecutive years, dating back to the fall of 2008.
This spring's semester GPA of 3.18 exceeded the Panthers' previous high of 3.16, achieved in the spring of 2015 and then equalled last fall. Georgia State's student-athlete population also has a cumulative GPA of 3.
