NEW ORLEANS- The No. 37 Georgia State men’s tennis team earned four all-conference awards at the Sun Belt Conference Championship banquet, the league announced Thursday.
Senior Zackery Kennedy and Andrei Andrukhou were both named to the All-Sun Belt Singles First Team, as well as being named to the All-Sun Belt Doubles Second Team. Kennedy has been recognized twice this year by the league as Player of the Week, with Andrukhou being recognized once.
Kennedy is tied for first on the team in singles wins, going 14-7 primarily at the No. 1 position. The Atlanta native has earned match-clinching wins twice this season, clinching matches against Louisiana and UNC Wilmington.
