STATESBORO, Ga. – For the first time this season, the women's tennis team was on the court at the Wallis Tennis Center. The Eagles would sweep the weekends matches defeating Alabama State 5-2 and SCAD 4-3. Next up for the Eagles is Presbyterian College on Tuesday at 2 p.m.
"SCAD has provided very tough competition over the past couple of years," said head coach Michele Stanford. "So we had a good idea of what to expect from them this time around. We had a very strong start in doubles to gain the first point, but SCAD came out even stronger at the start of the singles matches.
