STATESBORO - Unplayable field conditions have forced the postponement of Thursday's Georgia Southern women's soccer match vs. Appalachian State. It was to be the Sun Belt Conference opener for both schools.
The two schools will now work to schedule a makeup date in the future.
Georgia Southern will next be in action on Sunday, playing a 2 p.m. ET match at Ole Miss. App State will be in Conway, S.C., on Sunday to face Coastal Carolina.
